The System is Down podcast out of Aledo is hosting a live virtual libertarian presidential candidate debate on Friday, April 24, 7-9:30 p.m. Central.
Thirteen candidates will be there: Ken Armstrong, Dan Behrman, Kenneth Blevins, Judge Jim Gray, Jacob Hornberger, Adam Kokesh, John McAfee, John Monds, Sam Robb, Vermin Supreme, Arvin Vohra, Andy Williams Jr., and Mark Whitney.

——————————————Kenneth Reed Armstrong is an American military officer, author, speaker, and politician. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Coast Guard, spending most of his commissioned service in Joint Service assignments. He was the commander of the NATO base at Lampedusa Island, Italy, from 1988 to 1989.Dan “Taxation Is Theft” Behrman is an international speaker, promoting the ideas that Taxation Is Theft, that individual freedom is paramount to the government, and that we are not government property. He is the founder of the Taxation Is Theft Shop, and host of the Taxation Is Theft Podcast.
Kenneth Blevins is a third generation pipe welder/fitter with a degree in Athletic Training from Oklahoma State University.
Judge James Polin “Jim” Gray is an American jurist and writer. He was the presiding judge of the Superior Court of Orange County, California. Gray was the 2012 Libertarian Party vice presidential nominee, as well as the party’s 2004 candidate for the United States Senate in California.
Jacob G. Hornberger is an American attorney, author, and politician. He is the founder and president of the Future of Freedom Foundation. He was a candidate for the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination in 2000, as well as a candidate for the United States Senate election in Virginia in 2002.
Adam Charles Kokesh is an American libertarian political activist, radio host, author and a U.S. 2020 Libertarian presidential candidate running on the single-issue platform of an “orderly dissolution of the federal government.” Kokesh is a former U.S. Marine Corps sergeant, serving in the Iraq War in 2004.
John David McAfee is a British-American computer programmer and businessman. He founded the software company McAfee Associates in 1987 and ran it until 1994, when he resigned from the company. McAfee Associates achieved early success as the creators of McAfee, the first commercial antivirus software, and the business now produces a range of enterprise security software. In 2015 he sought candidacy for Libertarian nomination for President.
John Monds is an American politician and activist. He was the Libertarian nominee for Governor of Georgia in 2010. He was the first African American to appear on the general election ballot for Governor of Georgia. In 2008, Monds became the first Libertarian Party candidate in both Georgia and the rest of the United States to receive over 1,000,000 votes, when he ran for the Statewide office of Public Service Commission District 1 seat.
Sam Joseph Robb is an American software engineer, author, and presidential candidate. He earned a BS in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at Carnegie Mellon University in 1991. Upon graduating college, he spent four years as a US Naval Officer in Southern California until moving back to his home town of Pittsburgh to pursue a career as a software developer for startup companies. In 1998, Robb co-founded Geek Night in Pittsburgh which was a popular tech industry networking event that drew in sponsorship from companies like Google and Sun Microsystems. He is also the author of “My Dad Tweets Me Right”, a collection of 1,001 dad jokes in 160 characters or less.
Vermin Love Supreme is an American performance artist and activist who has run as a candidate in various local, state, and national elections in the United States. Supreme is known for wearing a boot as a hat and carrying a large toothbrush, and has said that if elected President of the United States, he will pass a law requiring people to brush their teeth. In 2011, he participated in the Occupy Boston protests. He is the subject of the 2014 documentary, Who Is Vermin Supreme? An Outsider Odyssey, which follows his 2012 campaign and explores his life as an activist and political prankster.
Arvin Vohra is an American politician, author, educator, and former vice-chairman of the Libertarian National Committee. Vohra ran for the Maryland House of Delegates once, and for U.S. House twice, as a Libertarian. He was a candidate for U.S. Senate in the 2018 election in Maryland. He lost to Ben Cardin and won 1% of the vote.
Andy Williams Jr. Andy Williams Jr. is a licensed Baptist minister, social entrepreneur, activist, and Libertarian candidate for President of the United States. The great-grandson of sharecroppers, Williams was raised in a white middle-class family by his black father and white stepmother but got involved in gangs and street crime after they separated when he was 12. Williams dropped out of high school, joined a gang, was arrested for robbery and went to prison. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies from Lewis University.
Mark Whitney is an American entrepreneur, podcaster, storyteller, political satirist, comedian, activist, and convicted felon. He is president of TheLaw.net and the former host and producer of Late Nite Last Week, a political satire show on Apple Podcasts. Whitney has toured as a one-man show since 2006.
