Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies respond to a domestic battery complaint in rural Joy. A press release indicates a male suspect had fled the scene Monday. A short time later deputies located and arrested 62 year old Jeffrey R. Dearinger of Joy for domestic battery. He was transported to the Mercer County Jail and is currently housed there until his initial court appearance.
