The Rockridge School District informing parents that a Lockdown Drill was conducted Wednesday morning at the Junior High and High School campus. During this planned drill, the building complex was locked down and a unit from the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department conducted a canine search of the premises. All students and staff remained in classrooms while the dog searched hallway lockers and the parking lot. A school district message says the drill was completed promptly and normal classroom activities resumed with minimal disruption to the school day.
