Mercer County farmer Chad Bell suited up on Saturday. He served as Captain Cornelius, the mascot for the Illinois Corn Growers Association, during a Saturday ethanol promotion in Aledo.
The ethanol promotion was held at the Gold Star FS Fast Stop, just east of Aledo on Illinois Route 17.
