WRMJ Sports Director Jim Taylor spent much of Thursday at Mississippi River Pool 13 near Savanna following the IHSA bass fishing sectional. Mercer County had a good day, but did not advance to state, finishing 5th. Moline, Geneseo and Sterling Newman are advancing to state.
