The IHSA announced the sectional seedings for post season baseball and softball. In Class 2A softball, defending state champion Rockridge is the number one seed in the Sub-Sectional A Brmfield Sectional. Mercer County was number 4. Tremont and Knoxville are the regional hosts. Orion is the second seed and Sherrard the eighth seed in Sub-Sectional B in the Orion sectional. Alleman and Mendota are the regional hosts. In Class 1A, West Central is the number three seed and United the number six seed in Sub-Sectional A for the Williamsfield sectional. Lewistown and West Central are the regional hosts. Rowva-Williamsfield, Princeville, Ridgewood and Stark County are the top four seeds in Sub-Sectional B. Rowva and Princeville are the regional hosts.
In 2A baseball, Orion, Knoxville, Sherrard, Mercer County and Monmouth-Roseville are the top five seeds and Rockridge is number seven in Sub-Sectional A of the Farmington Sectional. The regional hosts are Rockridge and Rushville. In Class 1A, Illini Bluffs and United are the top two seeds in Sub-Sectional A of the Mendon Unity sectional. West Central is number eight. Havana and Abingdon are the regional hosts.
