Former New Boston Mayor Dennis Dixon has been elected to the Aledo City Council. He will represent voters in Ward 4. Dixon ran a write-in campaign and received 31 votes. The lone contested race in Aledo on Tuesday involved Ward 2 where Linda Sarabasa defeated Rob Maynard 29-22. Sarabasa’s husband, Carlos Sarabasa, serves as Chairman of the Mercer County Board.
