The Illinois House took a few moments today to honor a 5 year old boy from Alpha who recently opened a library right on his front lawn. Logan Brinson came up with the idea for Logan’s Little Library after his family realized their new hometown didn’t have a public library of its own. After his story spread, Logan has received books from around the country and around the world to put in his library. Local State Representative Dan Swanson sponsored House Resolution 199 which “Commends Logan Brinson, whose love of reading and sharing books with others led him to open “Logan’s Little Library”.
