The Lincoln Trail Conference girls basketball season got underway Monday night at the Mercer County Golden Eagles made the long trip to Stark County where they fell to the Lady Rebels. Sherrard slipped by Monmouth-Roseville and the Rockridge Rockets lost to Fulton.
