The Mercer County School Board talks school district report cards. Superintendent Scott Petrie shared State Board of Education information with Unit 404 board members last night.
The under-performing schools are Mercer County Intermediate School and Mercer County Jr. High with the high school, Apollo and New Boston Elementary deemed commendable.
Petrie says there’s also an issue involving the district’s adequacy target as it relates to school funding.
The state says Mercer County should be receiving $15-million in resources, but the district only gets $9.7-million.
