WRMJ Sports Director Jim Taylor visited with Matt Troha with the Illinois High School Association today. The two discussed district scheduling for high school football. A proposal has been submitted by the IHSA Football Advisory Committee, which will be discussed at IHSA Town Hall meetings in November throughout the state. The 35-member IHSA Legislative Commission will decide later that month whether the issue moves to the ballot for a full vote of membership schools in December. Approval would be contingent on a simple majority.
