WRMJ Sports Director Jim Taylor spoke with Mercer County High School athletic director and football coach Andrew Hofer this morning. Hofer has confirmed that Mercer County is allowing dual participation this fall with at least one youngster playing football and golfing and another playing football, golfing and also running cross country. He says dual participation will also be allowed in girls sports and in winter and spring seasons contingent on agreement from coaches in each sport.
