Mercer County wins the 1A boys track sectional at Farmington High School Wednesday night. The Eagles scored 92 points, finishing five points better than 2nd place Elmwood. State qualifiers headed to EIU in Charleston next week include Daylen Blaser in the long jump and 200; Trae Clark and Carlos Pollock in the 800; 4×800 relay team of Trae Clark-Carlos Pollock-Mason Coulter-Corbin Sturgill; 4×100 relay team of John Baldwin-Colby Cox-Zander Huston-Daylen Blaser; and the 4×400 relay team of John Baldwin-Carlos Pollock-Trae Clark-William Fredrickson.
