An Aledo man has been arrested for breaking into a local restaurant. A press release from the Aledo Police Department says someone gained forced entry into Doug’s Town & Country Restaurant in the early morning hours on New Year’s Day. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. Further investigation led to the arrest of 30 year old Lee M. Sampson for burglary, criminal damage to property and criminal trespass. He is being held in the Mercer County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
