An arrest being announced today in the home invasion of former Mercer County Board member–83 year old Fred Rooth. The suspect has been identified as 55 year old Brian Tully of Burlington. According to a Warren County Sheriff’s Department press release, he has been arrested on residential burglary charges in Warren County and is facing similar charges in Henderson County. Further investigation implicated him in the May home invasion at Rooth’s rural Joy property. Additional details are being released at a press conference later today at the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. Tully is being held in the Warren County Jail.
