State Fair Karaoke Contest Includes Regional Competition At Henry County Fair

The Illinois State Fair green lights a statewide karaoke contest for a second straight year and the Henry County Fair in Cambridge will host a regional competition. Singers across the state will get a chance to compete at county fairs for a chance to be the opening act on the grandstand stage for the Illinois State Fair in Springfield and the DuQuoin State Fair. Twelve regional county fairs will host qualifying rounds of State Fair Karaoke, up from eight last year. The Henry County date is June 22nd. The first and second place winners from the regional level contests will move on to the finale at the Illinois State Fair on Saturday, August 12th, with the overall winner performing two songs on the Grandstand stage both in Springfield and Du Quoin.
