The federal case against two men arrested on child porn charges in Mercer County has been continued to later this month. Pre-trial conferences for Aaron Beauchamp of Matherville and William Ashby of East Moline will be held April 18th at U.S. District Court in Rock Island with a trial date set for May 22nd. The two are charged federally with Sexual Exploitation of a Child—punishable by 15 to 30 years in prison upon conviction. The two were originally charged at the state level for incidents involving a 16-year-old juvenile in March of last year. Beauchamp and Ashby remain in U.S. Marshals Service Custody.
