Three electric vehicle charging stations are now active in Aledo.
The stations were installed earlier this month. They are located in the southeast and northwest corners of the Aledo Central Park Market Plaza and across the street from the Aledo Police Department, says Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch.
The City of Aledo was awarded $50,000 in funding through the Ameren Illinois Community Engagement and Consultation Program for the project.
