A new school year in the Sherrard School District starts Wednesday.
Wednesday is the first day of school at Sherrard. On social media earlier this week, the district said it gifted new staff with gift bags that included pens, paper, gift cards to local businesses, treats, gym passes, car wash coupons, flower arrangements and more.
The first day of school in the Mercer County and Rockridge School Districts is Thursday, Aug. 14.
