Rockridge (27-4) won their second straight sectional championship, defeating Princeton (32-3) 64-46 Friday in Geneseo. The Rockets led by as many as 25 points in the second half. The win gave Rockridge their fourth sectional championship since 2015.
Jase Whiteman scored a game-high 27 points. Carson Klemme was also in double figures with 10. Rockridge made 11 three-pointers in the game.
Kolton Monroe paced Princeton with 11 points in the loss.
Rockridge advances to the 2A Sterling Supersectional Monday to play Rockford Lutheran in a rematch of last year’s supersectional game, which Rockridge won 57-52.
