Alleman (13-2), ranked #6 by the Associated Press in IHSA 2A girls basketball, beat Mercer County (7-6) at home Wednesday, 59-30.
The Pioneers led 17-11 at the end of the first quarter then outscored the Golden Eagles 24-6 in the second quarter to take a 40-17 lead at halftime.
Clair Hulke had 18 points for Alleman to lead all scorers. Adalynn Voss and Audrey Erickson each added 16 points for Alleman.
Molly Hofmann scored 11 points to pace the Golden Eagles.
