Veterans and their families were invited to the Mercer County Senior Center, Thursday, December 21, for a veteran’s coffee and creative writing session. Amy Hess of New Boston with Creativets is leading an interactive discussion sharing Christmas memories while in service. Hess says veterans miss getting together with those that have similar experiences.
Creativets is based out of Nashville. This is the first Chapter established in Illinois. The program helps veterans who work through their experiences.
