A Senior Nutrition Event, Brain Teaser Cafe, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Fri., Aug. 28, at the Mercer County Senior Center in Aledo. If you’re age 60 0r older and reside in Henderson, Mercer, or Warren Counties you’re invited for a delicious meal and some brain-boosting fun with crosswords, Sudoku, and seek-and-finds. The meal includes salmon patty, creamed peas, cauliflower, dinner roll, and tropical fruit OR choose the potato bar, served with your choice of 1 percent white or skim chocolate milk.
