Scott A. Lincoln – Memorial Service 10/14/24

Scott A. Lincoln, 62 of Joy, Illinois, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at OSF-St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, October 14, at Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo. The Memorial Service will directly follow the visitation at 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 26, at The Barn in New Boston. Scott was born on March 14, 1962, to Raymond and Conny Lincoln in Muscatine, Iowa. He graduated from Westmer High School in 1980. Scott married Janie Ham on April 21, 2012, in New Boston, Illinois. He was employed at Kraft-Heinz as a forklift operator and retired after 39 years; he also worked part-time for FS and Diamond AG. Scott loved deer hunting, walleye fishing, golfing, and spending time with his grandkids.

Scott is survived by his wife Janie; sons, Dan (Sarah) Lincoln of Muscatine, and Keith (Melissa) Lincoln of Eliza, Illinois; adopted son, Ryan (Lynn) Lincoln of Davenport, Iowa; stepchild, Kelli Smith of New Boston; grandchildren, Claire Brown-Lincoln, Luke Lincoln, Jase Lincoln, Charlotte Lincoln, Harper Lincoln, Macy Lincoln, and one more grandson lovingly expected; brother, Todd (Lisa) Lincoln of Florence, Kentucky; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Judy Ham of Aledo, Illinois; brothers-in-law, Eric (Jacki) Miller of Alexis, Illinois, and Joe (Kate) Ham of Aledo; two aunts; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

His parents, aunts, and uncles preceded him in death.

Scott has chosen to give the gift of life by being an organ donor through Gift of Hope.
