Sherrard used a big third quarter to pull away from Mendon Unity and pick up an 82-55 win at the Sandburg College Shootout in Galesburg on Saturday.
After holding a 37-31 lead at halftime, the Tigers outscored the Mustangs 29-14 in the third quarter to put the game away.
Sherrard (9-4) had four players score in double figures and made 10 3-pointers in the win. Carter Brown poured in a game-high 25 points. Nolan Kline added 20 points, Ryder Verdonda scored 16, and Brylan Bender had 10.
Sawyer Alledn paced Unity (4-5) with 20 points in the loss.
