An amended school calendar has been approved by the Rockridge Board of Education. The action taken Tuesday night in response to four staff members testing positive for COVID-19 says Superintendent Perry Miller.
The first day of student attendance was supposed to be Tuesday (Aug. 18), but will now be Monday, Aug. 31 utilizing the district’s Hybrid A/B model. Teachers will use Aug. 24 to 28 as remote learning planning days, but Miller says nothing is certain during this ongoing pandemic.
A total of four models were discussed by the Rockridge BOE Tuesday night.
