The Mercer County boys and girls golf teams traveled to Oakwood Country Club to meet Orion in golf action Tuesday. The girls were victorious winning 227 to 253. Callie Siering of Mercer County was the medalist with a 50. Orion won the boys match 190-196. The Chargers Vaughn Bernhardt and Nathan Engemen were co-medalists with 43″s.
At Valley View, it was Princeton 151, Ridgewood 169 and Sterling Newman 170 in a boys match. Thomas Bumann of Ridgewood was the medalist with a 36.
In Junior High Boys baseball United beat Galva 12-0. Elliott Copeland fired a no-hitter. Annawan-Wethersfield beat Ridgewood 7-1.
