The Rockridge Rockets used a 26-0 run in the first half to pull away from the Sherrard Tigers and never looked back in a 47-23 win Friday night. Nate Henry scored 21 points to lead Rockridge. Carson Klemme added 10 points.
Mercer County opened Lincoln Trail Conference play by beating ROWVA-Williamsfield 87-75 at home Friday night. The Golden Eagles were led in scoring by Owen Relander with 28 points. Eli Hoffmann scored 26.
