The 2026 Relay for Life of Mercer County takes place on Saturday.
The annual event is Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. in Aledo’s Central Park to support cancer survivors and caregivers.
Luminaria sales run from 3 to 7 p.m., and the event officially opens at 4 p.m. A bake sale also starts at 4 p.m., while a pork chop dinner is offered from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Aledo Fire Station. There is musical entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. with Ryan Koresko performing at the Aledo Central Park Band Shell. The night concludes with the Survivor Walk at 8 p.m. and the Luminaria Walk at 9 p.m.
Relay for Life Organizer Mary Flint says a lot of time goes into planning the event each year.
WRMJ’s 13th annual Relay for Life Radiothon raised $12,579 in April.
