Illinois Media, formerly the Associated Press (AP), released its preseason IHSA football rankings on Wednesday.
Rockridge is ranked No. 7 in 2A coming into the season.
Newman (No. 5) also represents the TRAC in the 2A rankings. Monmouth-Roseville and Princeton each received votes in the poll this week in 3A, but didn’t make it inside the top 10.
WRMJ will post the polls each week. WRMJ’s Ty Taylor is an Illinois Media voter. His ballot will accompany the Illinois Media poll throughout the year.
