Patricia “Patsy” Sheese, 76 of Viola, Illinois, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024, at her home. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, November 14, at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 15, at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Burial will be at Farlow Grove Cemetery, Matherville. Patsy was born on August 22, 1948, in Rock Island, Illinois, to James and Mary (Littrell) Anderson. She was employed at the Button Factory in Muscatine. Patsy enjoyed camping and reading, but most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them and her beloved cat Zeva. Whether it was shopping or sharing meals, she cherished every memory she made with her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Angie (Wayne) Verplaetse of Matherville, Illinois, Alicia (Jason) Miller of Viola, and Andrea (Jason) Geiling of Newman, Illinois; one son, J.C. (Tabby) Carlson of Aledo, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Janie Smith of Aledo, Teresa (Davey) Elliott of Edgington, Illinois, and Christine (T.J.) Sackfield of Matherville; two brothers, Bill (Suna) Anderson of Big Rock, Illinois, and Bob (Carol) Anderson of Tucson, Arizona; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Dale; two granddaughters, Valerie Carlson and Kiya Hassebrock; her parents; four brothers, John, Michael, David, and Dennis Anderson; two sisters, Mary Kay Jones and Julie Jackson; brother-in-law, Jimmy Smith; sister-in-law, Maria Anderson; and special friend, Roger Cook.
