The Mercer County School Board considering moving the district office. An item on Wednesday’s regular school board agenda lists purchasing property at 2020 SE 3rd Street in Aledo “for use as district office.” Currently the district office is located in the intermediate school, but 7th and 8th graders are being moved to that campus next school year along with 6th graders. The school board is also scheduled to discuss adding junior high baseball and other junior high sports topics.
