The Mercer County Board will select a new County Board Chairman this week. The position is vacant due to the June 29th death of Joe Vann. The new chairman will serve through December of 2018. The county board meets Tuesday night.
The Mercer County Republican Party will also be tasked with recommending a candidate to fill Vann’s District 4 county board seat through December of 2018.
