A New Boston man is facing meth charges in Mercer County following a weekend arrest.
According to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department press release, deputies took 56-year-old Brian Nelson into custody on Friday on multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine and fleeing/eluding a police officer. Nelson was also wanted out of Scott County on theft charges.
Nelson was transported to the Mercer County Jail, where he awaits an initial court appearance.
