Challenging financial times continue for the Mercer County VFW. The facility has lost out on hall rental and kitchen revenue since the pandemic began in mid-March says trustee Bill Brown.
The VFW is hosting its 18th Annual benefit golf outing Aug. 22 at Hawthorn Ridge. The fee is $260 per team. Brown says the event normally generates between $6,000 and $7,000 for the post.
