The Mercer County High School Restoration Program is holding its first-ever open house on Wednesday.
The program, which started in 2017, restores and customizes cars each year that are raffled off at the Aledo Antiques Day Car Show.
Mercer County High School Ag teacher Aaron Heartt helps organize the program. He says plenty of antique vehicles will be on display with the Restoration Program’s past projects, and the Antique Automobile Club of America will also be bringing cars to the open house.
The open house is on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Mercer County High School Vocational Building. Pork chops and chips will be served.
This year’s Restoration Program raffle vehicle is a 1977 Jeep CJ-7.
