Leoma F. Easley – Visitation 10/19/24

Leoma F. Easley, 89 of Viola, Illinois, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024, at Allure in Moline, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, October 19, at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Private graveside services will be held at the Viola Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Viola Fire Department and First Responders.

Leoma was born on July 10, 1935, to Averill and Antha Anderson Cobb in Dawt, Missouri. She married Rondal Easley on October 16, 1952, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He passed away on August 31, 2010. Leoma was employed as a seamstress at the Chateau Boutique in Rock Island in addition to being a devoted homemaker and loving mother to her kids. Leoma loved dancing and listening to music, especially old country. She also enjoyed working outdoors and gardening.

Those left to cherish Leoma’s memory include her children, Steven (Cathi) Easley of Viola, Rhonda (Jon) Ricketts of Coal Valley, and Craig (Patti) Easley of Viola; grandchildren, Stephanie (Tony) Ward, Brian (Joleen) Easley, Amber (Matt) Bruning, Brandon (Carolyn) Ricketts, Cory (Molly) Ricketts, Carrie (Patrick) Braet, Randi (Steve) Burton, and Cody (Courtni) Easley; 20 great-grandchildren with one lovingly expected; and a great great-grandchild lovingly expected.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rondal; parents; sister, Lavonna Callahan; and brother-in-law, Winfred Callahan.
