A Mercer County farmer continues to play a key leadership role in a couple of ag groups. Jeff Kirwan is the chairman of the Illinois Nutrient Research and Education Council or Illinois N-REC. They held their annual program last week in Champaign where he spoke to RFD Radio.
Kirwan farms in the New Windsor area. He also serves on the Illinois Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
