IHSA Boys Basketball AP Poll – Jan. 22, 2025

The Associated Press (AP) released its latest IHSA boys basketball rankings for the 2024-25 season Wednesday.

Sherrard (18-2, 5-0 TRAC West) entered the rankings at No. 8 in 2A this week. Rockridge (15-6, 4-1 TRAC West) received votes in the 2A poll.

Other local schools ranked this week include Quincy (4A No. 1) and Rock Island (4A No. 9).

WRMJ’s Ty Taylor is an AP voter. His ballot will accompany the AP poll throughout the year.

*The number in parentheses represents how many first-place votes a team received.
