WRMJ spoke with Rockridge High School junior running back and linebacker Thomas Sowards following the Rockets’ 56-12 win over Illini West in the first round of the 2A playoffs on Saturday.
Sowards rushed for 166 yards and five TDs in the win.
Rockridge (10-0) will play Tri-Valley (8-2) in the second round on Saturday.
