As April wrapped up, WRMJ and CBI Bank & Trust made sure to recognize two familiar faces in the Aledo community—Tanner and Trevin Dunn—as the recipients of this month’s Farm Strong Award.
Tanner Dunn accepted the award on behalf of both himself and his brother during a special on-air moment on April 30th. “Where’s your brother?” joked WRMJ’s Terry James. “I can accept on his behalf,” Tanner replied with a smile.
The Dunn brothers were nominated by Lindsay Dunn for their consistent hard work and partnership. Known not just for their strong work ethic but also their community involvement, Tanner has become a fixture on many local committees, especially those tied to parks and civic improvement in Aledo.
“Tanner is on every single committee, every park committee, everything in the city of Aledo,” James noted during the broadcast. Both brothers received a $50 gift card from CBI Bank & Trust as part of the award. And for Trevin, who was still working and couldn’t make it to the recording—Tanner promised to deliver his share. “I’ll get it right over to him,” he said.
