The City of Aledo is encouraging residents and visitors to support local shops and restaurants this Saturday, November 30, for Small Business Saturday.
Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch highlighted the role of small businesses in the city’s ongoing downtown revitalization. He said, “Aledo is fortunate to have a robust small business community, and we would love to see residents and visitors explore what we have to offer this weekend.”
The city’s historic downtown features a variety of local businesses, including longtime favorites like Ferg’s Public House and newer additions such as the Alley Marketplace and Smith’s Custom Meats. Lindsey Dunn, Director of Aledo Main Street, emphasized the importance of the Shop Small campaign, saying it’s a way to support the local economy while celebrating community pride.
