Black Hawk College’s East Campus is set to host a career fair on Wednesday, December 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place in Building A’s Game Room and cafeteria. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their résumés. While the fair is open to all, it is particularly geared toward students in programs such as Accounting, Agribusiness Management, Agriculture Mechanics Technology, Automotive Repair Technology, Business, Equestrian Science, Horse Science Technology, Veterinary Assisting, and Veterinary Technology. As of November 27, confirmed employers include Advanced Crop Care, Inc., Birkey’s Farm Store, Channel Seed, Corn Belt Ag Services, Corteva Agriscience – Pioneer Brand, Ed Morse Automotive Group, Fastenal Company, Five Star Veterinary Center, Gold Star FS, Gustafson Ford LLC, Illinois Department of Agriculture, Illinois Department of Central Management Services, and the Illinois Department of Corrections.
