Sherrard (19-5, 9-1 TRAC West) closed its regular season with a 50-30 win over Mercer County (14-16, 4-6 TRAC West) in girls basketball on the road Monday.
After leading 22-21 at halftime, the Tigers outscored the Golden Eagles 28-9 in the second half to pull away. Sherrard allowed Mercer County to score just two field goals across the third and fourth quarters.
Violet Meskan netted a game-high 20 points for Sherrard.
Molly Hofmann paced Mercer County with 12 points.
