ALEDO, IL – The City of Aledo is alerting residents to temporary delays in recycling collection. Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) has reported that while some pickups are behind schedule, all recyclables are expected to be collected by the end of the day today, January 2.
Residents whose recycling is not collected as anticipated are encouraged to contact City Administrator Mike Chausse on Friday, January 3, by calling 309-582-7241, extension 207.
City officials assure the community that these delays will not affect regular trash collection services. They thank residents for their patience and understanding as LRS works to resolve the issue.
