An Aledo man makes an appearance in Mercer County Circuit Court on five different criminal cases. 28 year old Clay Mitchell has pending cases involving meth, domestic battery, violating an order of protection and a probation violation in connection with another domestic battery charge. He is being held in the Mercer County Jail on $40,000 bond and has filed a motion to reduce bond with a hearing scheduled for March 13th.
