The City of Aledo is hosting a public information session for the Aledo Aquatic Center project this weekend.
The event is from 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, at 110 SE 3rd Avenue in Aledo. Aledo City Administrator Mike Chausse says community members are invited to attend to hear updates on the project and ask questions about the progress.
Chausse says the aquatic center’s opening is targeted for the spring of 2026. It will feature a four-lane swimming pool, a zero-depth entry pool, a kids play structure with a water slide, and more.
The project’s estimated cost is $7.5 million.
