The 2026 Relay for Life of Mercer County is two weeks away.
This year’s Relay for Life event takes place on June 27 at Aledo’s Central Park. Luminaria sales run from 3 to 7 p.m., and the event officially opens at 4 p.m. A bake sale also starts at 4 p.m., while a pork chop dinner is offered from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Aledo Fire Station. There is musical entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. with Ryan Koresko performing at the Aledo Central Park Band Shell. The night concludes with the Survivor Walk at 8 p.m. and the Luminaria Walk at 9 p.m.
Relay for Life Organizer Mary Flint says it’s always a great day of honoring cancer survivors, caregivers, and loved ones who lost their lives to the disease.
