Sherrard won its 11th straight boys basketball game in a 60-47 victory over Alleman at Harry Hunt Gymnasium on Tuesday.
The Tigers (18-4) trailed just once in the game, 2-0, and held leads of 23-7 at the end of the first quarter and 35-13 at halftime. Sherrard’s lead ballooned to as big as 25 points and shrank to as small as eight in the second half.
Brylan Bender scored a game-high 17 points for Sherrard in the win. Ryder Veronda added 16, and Carter Brown netted 15 for the Tigers.
Dereon McDaniel led Alleman (7-18) with 13 points in the loss.
