An Aledo man charged in a theft investigation of over $100,000 will return to court in November.
63-year-old Ricardo Tejano appeared in Mercer County Circuit Court last week, where a preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 3.
Tejano was arrested last week and charged with three felony theft counts. He’s facing a Class 1 felony of theft between $100,000-$500,000, a Class 2 felony of theft between $10,000-$100,000, and a Class 3 felony of theft between $500-$10,000.
According to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department press release, deputies received a report regarding a possible theft involving an estate in July. Tejano was arrested following an investigation.
Tejano was released from custody pursuant to a court order.
